Market By The Bay Take-out - Daphne

This place was awesome!!!! Our server, Jenny, was so sweet and attentive! Food came out hot and fresh. We had the delicious crab claws. Best I've ever had. Hushpuppies w/cheese sauce was really good too. Would recommend this place if you're ever in Daphne.

Needed a quick stop on the way back from the USS Alabama tour and accidentally found the best fried triggerfish I’ve ever tasted. I would gladly return here to try every other thing on the menu. Great food, friendly service, very much worth a return trip.

Great little spot. Delicious food. Hardly any parking, but they have everything to go as well.

Appreciate the new owner serving up fresh local seafood; but, didn't like the small sides being served in Styrofoam. Salad and potato salad are relatively cheap ingredients they should be proportioned correctly. I had the shrimp dinner and got them blackened they were delish but I was still hungry after we left as I received two sm. hushpuppies, and 2 sides which were very small. Husband got the chopped meat po boy and said it was ok. Son was disappointed in menu choices and we got him the smoked tuna appetizer which was good. The atmosphere could be improved as it is the same odd layout need to get creative. We likely won't return.

It’s my first time in Alabama and I wanted some good ole local food and found this place on the map. I must say, I’m a Charleston, SC native and I’ve had a lot of seafood, but this Blue Crab Biscuit was nothing short of amazing.It came out perfectly cooked and very structured but not hard or crumbly in the slightest. The crab meat was to die for and even though I’m just passing through Alabama on the way from Florida to Texas, if I ever venture back to the bay, I’ll be stopping here again.Last, but certainly not least, the waitress Kaylee was very nice and friendly. She gave me her honest opinion of what was good on the many and even some local advise of what makes a great gumbo different from a “good” one. All in all, perfect service and great tip because of it.10 out of 10 and I’ll do it again!
