That's a casual Indian eater, and it's okay. I am an Indian american, so my standards are quite high, so they take my assessment with a grain salt. my paper masala dosa was not as thin as it should be, and I felt like all chutneys and dal felt something prepared. all mittai (dessert) looked very fresh, although I did not try. it is not very friendly either. on the flip side it is cost-effective relatiw. I wouldn't necessarily try to get to this place, but it's okay, just the same.
I went to eat there a few times and tryed several dishes and they was everytime very nice. The staff was sometimes a bit unattending.
This place is great; clean and friendly. The only downside is that the menu has a large list of North and South Indian dishes which will only be familiar to other Indians. A menu with pictures or descriptions would be certain to increase business! Definitely a great to place to visit if you're in Dar. Updated from previous review on 2016-09-19
The place is in the (indian) heart of Dar. The choice of (indian) pastry is endless. Unmissable.
