Amazing Crab House - Darby Township

Loved the ambiance... the decor was very inviting made you feel submerged in a nautical escape. However, the AUCE is sub-par. The food was not cooked with season as the spices were added to the bag once done, which left for very blan seafood. The service was okay, but you had to get the attention of the wait staff in order to ask for refills. I thought that was disappointing as we had a group of 14 maybe a dedicated server should have been assigned as we made a reservation in advance. The 90 minutes is strict... so I suggest you start a timer on your watch to make certain you are cognitive of allotted time frame.

Shockingly good experience! This place has great spices for your boils. The crabs are fresh tasting and delicious!

Food was good. Only thing I dont think is fair neither appropriate was that they should have their menu updated not have a drink for 12 bucks and then add 4 bucks extra for a shot and drink was very weak. If I were to go again it would just be for food thats it...

I didn’t like neither gumbo nor clam chowder, small and no taste.Good they sell non alcohol beer, service was good too.I had crawfish with garlic sauce, it was very greasy and had to peel the crawfish to dip it in, because the craw fish itself had no flavor.

There was not enough seating for 5 people. I had to sit at the end of the table with a chair like a child. The automatically charge you 15% gratuity for your meal. The sign at the front of the restaurant states that, if you have 5 or more in your party, you will only be charged one gratuity per table. That was not the case, when the bill came we were charged 2 separate gratuities. It was difficult trying to explain why did this happen, after all the yelling stopped, they finally decided to change the bill and disregard the extra gratuity fee.Its terrible how they try and rip you off, not only do they bill for gratuity but have the nerve to have a line/space so you can tip them again.OUTRAGEOUS!!!Parking: Very hard to find parking, we parked a half block away.
