Went for lunch at noon on Friday. Mostly empty store with one employee. He watched us all decide what to get. First asked for egg sandwich. We ain 't got no eggs today. Ok, how about grilled cheese. Out of cheese too. . What about a turkey sandwich? We got no bread. . Au bon pain literally has the word bread in the title and they ran out of bread? He was just being an ahole and didn 't feel like making anything. I 've never seen anything like that. We left and ate somewhere else.
Weirdest experience ever. Should have realized when I couldn’t open the door that I should try something else. Checkout and ordering was confusing. One guy behind the counter slowly making sandwiches. Empty register off to the side. Ordered the sw chicken and was told they only had one kind of bread which made my $10 sandwich half the size it was supposed to be. Cashier kept disappearing. How is a sandwich place out of bread? Why couldn’t I some how be compensated? Both staff members just stared at me with no sense of welcoming or customer service. Won’t be back here
The asiago bagel was surprisingly good! I'm picky about bagels and don't trust chains like this. Better than dunkin for sure
Is there a way to give 0 stars? If so, that's what they get. I never do reviews, but have to in this case. I work in the office building and am somewhat captive, but I am done with them! No staff (where other restaurants have been doing much better with this coming out COVID), they get orders wrong, nothing out on the shelves, ingredients not in stock, no napkins in the napkin holders, won't take cash, no one at the register, I could go on and on. Walk a couple more blocks and get service in comparison to what they offering. Just don't bother!
