Pizzeria Stella - Darby Township

This was the best Cheesesteak in Philly 3 months ago. Giant amounts of steak and melted cheese on a seeded roll. Less meat portion in recent times after they gained some popularity. Guess they don't need business anymore.

Let me start off by saying the food is excellent. Great pizza! The rice balls are amazing! Doughnuts definitely skip. Being a Star restaurant I figured they would match buddakan’s dip sum doughnuts which are amazing but not even close. Bland and dry I wound up taking a cpl bite and throwing away. They need better dessert options. Reason for a 3 star review was that I was highly annoyed when I received a glass of sangria in a 4-6 oz rocks glass packed with ice. Which means I received about 2-3oz of actual sangria. I’ve never seen that in my life. They’re always served in a huge wine glass or pint glass. Either the bartender or the manager has no clue on which glassware is appropriate for which drink. By my 3rd one I was disgusted and asked if I could have a glass without ice. The server made sure to inform me that the glass would only be less than 1/2 way filled due to not having ice in it. What a disgrace! Sangria has things mixed in it such as juices and purées and you refuse to give me more than 3oz of it? That’s crazy to me and a complete rip off. A glass of wine should contain 6oz I know been bartending for 32 years. I know a rip off when I spot one. Do better Stella! What a disgrace!! In the picture I have the glass next to the short stirring straw to measure the size. It pisses me off to take advantage like this and the drink was $14 ?? if you’re going to charge $14 for a drink make sure you actually give me a drink not a sample sip. Serve your cocktails in appropriate glassware

An excellent experience. The crust is so wonderful! Brick oven heaven!
