The cheesecake was great too. The staff was always quick, friendly, in a great mood. Nicol is an awesome server as well as the rest of the staff. The establishment has two sides, the cafe and the saloon. The cafe side is nice when the weather is good, well-lit with a breeze coming through and a huge fireplace as a centerpiece in the room. Great for dinner. The saloon is an awesome place to have some drinks with a darker atmosphere. Wild West type of porch. Street parking in front. Awesome deals depending on the days you’re in town.Parking: A few spots out front more around the area
Great atmosphere and the waitress were friendly. We ordered and food was delivered promptly and tasted greatWaitress was around to fill drinks as needed but did not hover. Was a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. Great place to go when it is snowing...eat by the fire and watch the snow fall.
They have very delicious food we had the BLT with fries and fish sandwiches with tots and they were both very yummy ? so if you are ever in the area stop by and try their food at the big cat you won't be disappointed because they are very friendly and the atmosphere is great the fireplace was going and they have games if you want to play if you decide you are bored so stop by and try it for yourselfWheelchair accessibility: The is wheelchair ramp and parking ?️
I was really looking forward to enjoying a good Montana cheeseburger, but what I got was a disappointing experience. The burger was overcooked and dry, resembling a poorly made, frozen patty. It was meant to come with jalapeño cream cheese, but instead, it was bland and watery, more like tasteless mayonnaise. While the fries were decent, they didn't taste fresh and could easily have been from a supplier like Sysco, similar to what you'd find at any fast-food joint. Given the charming historic setting of the town, I expected much better quality food. The patio heaters inside were uncomfortably hot, burning my arm and forcing me to ask for a seat change. It feels like a tourist spot that doesn't prioritize good food or the lovely weather we enjoy. Overall, I paid $22 for a burger that didn't deliver at all.
The cheesecake I had was the best I've ever tasted, and the drinks were excellent too!
