Johnny Bear's - Darien Center

Absolutely fantastic! I’ve dined at Johnny Bear multiple times, and it has yet to disappoint me. The burger patties are incredibly fresh and always in season—just fantastic! I can’t get enough of how delicious the rolls are. The fried chicken breast sandwich is equally amazing; it's crispy without being greasy. The chicken fingers are crunchy, and the portion size is substantial. One of the great improvements they’ve made is with their fries. They were always good, but when JB's first opened last summer, the fries were thinner and a bit oily. Now, they are thicker cut and not greasy at all, plus the portions are HUGE! A basket of fries could easily feed a small army. And the prices are so reasonable! I keep coming back here.

Fantastic burgers and fries. My burger was really delicious the meat was fresh, with subtle spices, a homemade bungalow and toppings to order. The handcuffs were extraordinary. Our table taste tested the three variety band, curly and traditional. My favourite was the traditional (non-fat and wonderful taste), but fans of homemade potato chips loved the bandfries best. The portions were a large number of frits is easy enough for 2 3 people. The ice cream from a local cream (Perry's) was also delicious. This place is a jewel in the country!

This is a fantastic restaurant! The food is exceptional, and the location is highly convenient for both locals and travelers visiting Darien Lake Theme Park. I highly recommend the homemade fries and any of their burgers—they're all delicious! The burgers, salads, and tomatoes are consistently fresh. This is a wonderful place to dine in every season!

Babyburgers are incredible! The quarter pounder is the perfect size for me—I have to enjoy one at least once a week! They truly serve the best burgers!

Great place!. I stopped in at Johnny Bear's after the Bills home game against New England (go Bills!!! . There was a line to the door because other people had the same idea. The service was excellent! I thought I would be in line for awhile, but their friendly, efficient staff took orders quickly and kept the line moving. I also didn't have to wait long for my food (less than 10 minutes , wihich was suprising considering how busy it was, and they brought it to my table. I couldn't believe how good the burger was (and it was so cheap less than $2 . A fresh hand made burger on a Costanzo's roll doesn't get any better than that! The fries were cut from fresh potatoes (you could see someone in back cutting them and the portion was huge. They were delicious (not like the process fries you usually get . I also had a shake that was made with REAL ice cream you don't see that much anymore. I will definitely go back.
