Checkers On Tor - Darling Heights

I decided to give this restaurant another chance after being disappointed last year. The staff was friendly, but the food was lacking flavor. The vegetables and potatoes had no taste, and the meat was tough. I don't think they will survive in business if they continue to offer mediocre food at such high prices, especially when you can get a decent roast meal at a pub for the same price.

Located conveniently near my accommodations, this unassuming restaurant exceeded my expectations with its high quality of food. The staff were friendly and efficient, making for a pleasant dining experience.

I absolutely adore the roast at this restaurant. In the 20 years I have lived in Toowoomba, I have never had a negative experience with the food here. I highly recommend it.

Listening good stuff about the meals here, so tried it out and we were disappointed young. Upon arrival, the Chappie, who took orders, was nothing less than rude, our money paid and our lunch came out as if it had been thrown on the plate by...Afar, meat and vegetables were just stacked on top of each other, the meat was dry and tasteless, the vegetables had no taste except the pumpkin, the whole meal was a great disappointment. There are much better places to eat in Toowoomba, recommend to stay away from this place, well over price and extremely overrated.

We had a large order for a office work lunch, all meals ordered were fresh and delicious and there were raving reviews from everyone in the office. I had the Angry American Burger which was huge and I couldn't finish it all 10/10 recommend
