Even though I did not mention it was my birthday, the attentive and friendly staff must have overheard my conversations about the special day. They surprised me with a lovely rendition of happy birthday and a delicious cake. However, it is important to note that the prices at this establishment are quite high, so be prepared to spend over $500 for a family dinner.
Company organised a meal at Blue Angel last month. 4 people went together and we ordered Lobster Sashimi and seafood platter. There are two kinds of lobster sashimis, one is made of a 4kg lobster, one is made of a baby lobster. They way two kinds of sashimi were prepared was different. the big lobster was cut into thick slices, however, the baby one was cut really really thin, which has a fantastic flavour to it. We also ordered waygu beef M9 level. This is my first time to have such tender meat, it almost tastes like Tuna texture. When we finished lobster sashimi, the boss cooked us pasta using the rest of the lobster with other seafood. The plate is bigger than my face, I have to ask for a doggy bag. The whole experience was fantastic, since we went for fine food, so the dining time is kinda long, nearly three hours, please prepare your night before you go. This is not quick food place
If you're in the mood for lobster, this restaurant should definitely be at the top of your list.
Taking the cousin to Sydney to play, to eat seafood, think about the environment of the fish market plus price, or choose Blue Angel. At least the environment is much better than the fish market, and the price of lobster is similar to that of the fish market, so why not choose a restaurant. The dried beef of his family is also very good. Although I don't know the beef for a few years, I can see the professionalism from the setting and explanation of the people's dry cabinet. In short, if it is food, just worry about eating, the physical quality will not disappoint. If you can meet the boss to serve you, it is really lucky. Old-school Italians have a deep understanding of Asian culture. If you understand him, you can learn a lot of knowledge, in fact. Because this restaurant is like a museum, many details can be explored. When you wait, you may wish to study each painting on the wall and you will find yourself immersed in history and art. I personally like this aspect, so every time I go to a restaurant, in addition to the food itself, I will study the environment, search for some stories, and there are many interesting things that can be based on the three generations of Sydney's old restaurants.
My husband and I visited Blue Angel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We opted for the set menu, which was fantastic. From the lobster sashimi and seafood platter, to the seafood pasta and dessert, it was a truly delightful evening. I want to express my gratitude to my husband for his wonderful choice, as well as to Marcello, the restaurant owner, for the special Maotao Ice Cream. I can't wait to bring my friends here next time. I highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion.
