Visualizza tutti i feedback.
We booked this place for the Christmas party at work today. The booking was for 75 pax but 3 of our team had to quit because of the poor setup of tables. This is pathetic, to say the least when it comes to service on your part. There aren't any empty chairs as well for us to adjust which the waitress kept on insisting. We can't just sit on someone's lap and eat food from a shared plate. Ideally, there should be arrangements to accommodate all for which the booking was done. Fine, we missed on that. When the issue is raised, the staff should be courteous enough to look at options, not tell us to adjust somewhere. Food's average. That's what the 1 star is for.
Great food with plenty of gluten free options. The standout dishes were the cauliflower and the halloumi. Be sure to book as it does get very busy.
Definitely one of my good dining experience here. Service is really warm and attentive and dishes here were delicious. Organised a group dinner here and tried nearly all the dishes on this season's menu and some dishes I would strongly recommend are: for the entree- fried cauliflower. Must try! Too good Fresh spatzle with sautéed local prawns dill and warm egg yolk dressing ($24) - Awesome taste and even the Spatzle taste like prawn. Slow Roasted pork Knuckle with pickled apples, horseradise cream and mustards( $34)- you probably want share this dish with others, it is a whole pork knuckle and it with super delicious pork crispy skin. Sugar and salt cured cucumber, chive yoghurt, dill and trout roe (9)- As the side, this one is a amazing. the cucumber is refresh without that grassy flavour I don't like from cucumber. also it goes really will with pork knuckle For dessert, both dessert is awesome: I love how the ricotta doughnuts made, it stuffed with soft creamy ricotta and one of my girl just can't stop eating it! I love the honey cake more which with honey combo.

Really wanted to like this restaurant but we did not enjoy our dining experience here. The restaurant decor was welcoming and rustic with a European theme. The restaurant is fairly small with tables arranged closely together so it got very loud. We did not enjoy the food at all- maybe due to our selection. We ordered the fried cauliflower- which was probably the best dish of the night and reminded me of honey chicken. We also ordered the air dried beef- which was good, but nothing special. Our third dish was the duck breast shnitzel- a too tiny a piece of meat arranged with picked grapes. It did not look very appetising or tasty. We wanted to try something different as we usually always order pork knuckle wherever we go, so we decided to go with the spätzle with prawns as our final dish. It was too bland and tasted a bit of the ocean. We unfortunately could not finish it. It seems like the pork knuckle is the popular choice as every table had ordered that so we should've possibly stuck with that. The watermelon caprioska was very tasty though.
