Contribuisci feedbackI had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, but the prices always held me back. When I saw it on dimmi's flash deal, I was thrilled! My first impression was that many of the dishes were more traditional than I had expected for an Asian fusion restaurant. The flavors were all amazing, but I was hoping for a bit more innovation, especially with the chow kwai tau. The standouts for me were the incredibly fresh oysters topped with shaved ice, the crispy fried tofu, and the grilled Katsu sandwich. The service was good and the atmosphere was relaxed, making it perfect for a night out with a friend. Overall, my belly was satisfied, but I probably wouldn't return without a deal.
Looking for a cocktail and some modern Asian cuisine? Look no further! If you have a sweet tooth, be sure to try the ABC dessert - pandan has never tasted better!
Not too much to criticise here- the outside looks a bit run down, but once inside there is a industrial/warehouse feel. Was a tad cold for me, but I wasn't wearing a jumper under my coat. Our server was a gem- she was the only one on the floor, run off her feet with a mostly full place but still managed to make excellent recommendations and chat with the customers, remembering each dish we ordered long after plates were gone. We had the calamari- beautifully charcoal cooked and delicious sauce to accompany. I enjoyed the koah? Noodles- big serve and nicely flavoured. My mum had the fried drumsticks and said they were delicious but struggled to finish 3. Broccolini to accompany likewise delicious. Small menu, but lots of interesting choices for those unfamiliar with Malaysian. Wine was quite pricey though- would recommend saving this for home.
We walked in unannounced and given a warm welcome and a table. What a delight to find this treasure. We had great service, the menu was explained carefully and we shared the most delicious and well crafted menu items. The flavours and presentation were exceptional and so yummy. Highly recommend this dining experience.
We have been here many times for cocktails and always said we would come back to try the food. Havin never really eaten Malaysian food, I was a little cautious but we finally decided to go through the great offer through Dimmi and it was totally Awesome food. We was blown away with the flavours in the 6 course buffet menu so we will defiantly be back to try it all again. Keep up the great service and if i had one piece of constructive feedback we thought the $15 corkage was a little steep, luck we remember seeing Tuesday is no corkage day. Maybe just stay licensed or look at your price on the corkage to make the deal even better.
