Set in the old carriage works you are set for a very different setting.Being so big I can imagine it might feel a bit empty but we were there for a work function and it was perfect.Good selection of beers on tap and the staff were very friendly. Finger food we had was good, the black burgers sliders were a standout.

Ordered a coffee and a tea to eat-in but told would get take away cups -asked why and told they were 'too busy' to give in proper cups. The female staff member serving was Not friendly and did not know her teas. Not happy but went ahead with purchase - then waited over 10 mins. The Cafe's staffing issues or the staff's lack of product knowledge have let a potentially loyal customer down.I Will not return or recommend.My Latte was just warm and tasted like ****. Sacrificing the customer's experience because it's 'busy' is NOT good enough. I wasted my money / thanks for nothing.

I went to check out the disabled access, as the description of ramps on the website had me worried, particularly with the photos of stairs between split levels. So as it turns out, anyone dining at ground level can get to the bar by going up a couple of steps. Anyone in a wheelchair will have to leave the restaurant and go around the outside and back down a ramp. Or at least I think that's what has to happen. I drove a long way there just to see what these ramps were like, I checked the "what's on" page of the website too, but it made no mention of the large event at the carriage works that had also taken over the bar/restaurant. So I didn't get to check it out, I had to settle for an explanation whilst outside, an explanation that amounted to "someone will have to buy drinks for you". And yes, there are also disabled toilets, but they're about 100m from the restaurant, so if you're a poor walker or you have a tiny bladder, this won't be great for you. Further to that, access from Wilson St is via the most enormous set of ramps I've ever seen. Seriously, I've never seen so many ramps stacked on top of each other. So while technically this place has disabled access, it's more of a box ticked sort of thing than a genuine attempt to provide working access.

Beautiful food & exceptionally friendly staff. Nothing was a problem for them. The gnocchi was just divine! The place isn't very big but is very very busy!

We were visiting the Carriageworks Farmers Market for the first time when we found this interesting looking café and thought that it was a perfect spot to have a leisurely brunch after strolling through the popular Farmers Market. The décor of this café was interesting. It is a combination of industrial style with a suitable amount of plants and rustic furniture. The tables are spaced comfortably. The buying process is a pub style where you need to order and pay at the counter first, and then the food will be delivered to your table. Despite this, the staff was very friendly and approachable.The coffee was great, one of the best in Sydney!The portion of my big breakfast was not as big as other cafés, but the food was fresh and delicious. The poached eggs that my husband ordered had a generous portion of smoked salmon though.We will definitely be back to this lovely café with great coffee!
