Despite dining in simple restaurants around the world, I was still shocked by the lackluster atmosphere of Busy Bee. Opting for a safe choice, I ordered fried rice with sliced chicken, a dish I assumed would be difficult to mess up. However, when my food arrived, it was smothered in a strange yellow substance that resembled custard. The overwhelming flavors of salt and sugar made the dish nearly inedible. My friend's soup was no better, with a gelatinous texture and a lack of cutlery provided. Frustrated and running late for work, I could barely stomach a few bites before giving up. Despite paying in advance, we left the uneaten food behind and left the restaurant. I was left pondering how Busy Bee stays in business and how it has managed to garner positive reviews on TripAdvisor. I have never experienced such poor dining, and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
We were in the mood for some takeout and I suggested Busy Bee to my friends. Our order arrived in just thirty minutes, and we were happy to see that there was plenty of meat in our dishes, unlike some other places where you have to search for it in the sauce. The delivery driver was friendly and the prices were reasonable. Busy Bee has become my go-to Chinese takeout spot, and I've convinced my friends to start using it too. Overall, I would say it's superb.
We ordered takeout and waited over 2 hours before our food arrived. It was not worth the wait and I do not recommend this restaurant.
I have ordered from here previously and the food has always been good, not so tonight. Ordered beef garlic chilli. It had a strong vinegar flavour and I could not eat it all, may go somewhere else next time.
Wonderful Chinese food at a very reasonable price. Ordered my usual with an extra chop suey roll. They are so good. The food is always very good. It was delivered to my house by a very polite and pleasant driver in about 20 or 25 minutes. Other places seem to take hours but Busy Bee are always very prompt. Keep up the good work
