There were no sandwiches available for the kids' lunch boxes at 12:30pm, and the staff did not offer to prepare one. It's truly disappointing to refer to this place as a café.
I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. Some items on the menu were not available, and the food that was served was burnt. The kids' bacon was undercooked, the chicken nuggets were overcooked, and the ham was too fatty. Additionally, our order was incorrect. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant in the future.
We met up with family and three of us had different lunches: scampi and chips with peas, sausages with mash and peas, lasagne and salad. An ordinary cafe lunch served effectively. It was hot and condiments were freely available, and all for about a fiver a meal. You really cannot beat it.
This restaurant is always a great spot for lunch or a quick snack before or after your weekly shopping trip to Darlington. Keep in mind that it can get quite crowded between 12 and 1, so plan your visit accordingly.
Excellent super market with a great selection of clothes also. managed to get some birthday gifts and eat everything under one dach.
