We were here for the Christmas party and the first impression was, oh, how cute . There were goose figures everywhere. Our space was for 11 people and we were seated very tightly. We had pre-ordered goose. Then the cut-up geese came with a dumpling each and red cabbage, which was also very tasty . Unfortunately, the drinks didn 't work particularly well and we often found ourselves left dry, which is a shame. Dessert was ice cream, apricot dumplings or pancakes and Kaiserschmarrn. Friendly service, good wines, superb kitchen, especially austrian desserts...in November and December you get those dramatic good goose foods.

My boyfriend lived in Austria so he was anxious to check out this restaurant. He selected an excellent Blaufrankisch (red wine) from Mittelburgenland to accompany his Zwiebelrostbraten (steak with onions), which he enjoyed. I ordered the sole with rice and broccoli, which was delicious. The server was friendly and attentive and the patio setting was beautiful but the bf felt the experience could have been a bit more authentic if the owners made some minor changes in keeping with true Austrian dining.
