Moxie's Grill & Bar - Dartmouth

Our first dinner in Nova Scotia with a group of 12 was the start of an amazing adventure, bringing together travelers from different parts of the country including Calgary.

This restaurant is a typical chain eatery with something for everyone. While nothing stands out as exceptional, its cool vibe gives it a club-like atmosphere.

My girlfriend and I visit this restaurant often and we always have a great experience. The interior design is very high-end, with dim lighting and a relaxed atmosphere.

I did NOT expect such a great meal from a chain restaurant. The cashew chicken lettuce wraps were not just healthy, my memory of them paired with the vegetarian power bowl still makes me salivate. The blackened shrimp tacos were good too. The service was...what you'd expect from a well-run chain: good and efficient.

We went here for dinner while in metro for a night. The meal was excellent and the staff were friendly. The COVID precautions that they have in place seem more than adequate for social distancing. The tables were far enough apart and there were no...concerns on our end of any risk of exposure. The calamari was a great start to the meal and my steak at medium rare was prepared perfectly.
