Parkside Pub Smokehouse - Dartmouth

Today, March 24, 2023, we tried the Dutton Burger as part of Burger Bash. It was a very good burger topped with brisket and hickory sticks that rounded this off really well. Another great meal. How can I say this? The food was so good and attractive that we were halfway before I thought of taking a picture. We love Mic Mac bar and grill but this restaurant gives that one good run for its money. It was amazing that people, on a Friday night, were not lined up here. Not only was the food great, the service was also great, very friendly and helpful. I think this restaurant deserves much more attention. Certainly coming back.

Wow, The full rack of ribs is huge, and so delicious! Also tried the pulled pork and sausage, which were both amazing. Even the fries were great! Perfect spot for dinner with friends/family. Everyone was very happy with their meals!

Service was decent however we went on a night where there was trivia so we were not a priority at all. Just got way too busy in the rest of the establishment. No one ever came back to see if I needed another water which seems to have died in most restaurants. The food for the most part was delicious. I made plans with friends to go here in the near future as I really enjoyed the smokehouse club. I definitely recommend trying it for yourself.

The pulled pork sandwich is awesome! Also we had the greatest server ever. My 6yo son asked for a kids menu word search and they didn’t really have that there. Our server gave him a full colouring book and then proceed to create a word search by hand for him to do. I really couldn’t believe that she did that for him. What a great place!

Wow! This place sure has changed since it was just the old Parkside Pub. The addition of the smokehouse is definitely a game changer. We started with the candied pork belly, which was absolutely delicious, 100% recommend! For entrees I had the pick 2 sampler platter which consisted of a slab of brisket, 2 smoked sausages, fries and corn bread. The fries were great quality and perfectly seasoned, the cornbread was tasty and moist and the sausages were top notch. The brisket was fork tender with a nice flavorful crust, although it was a bit on the dry side. My fiancee had the pulled pork mac and cheese, which is a nice entree size. It was nice and heavy on the cheese (great cheese pulls! and the pulled pork was very tasty. Although the sauce component would benefit from some additional seasoning. The service was fantastic, our waitress was friendly, engaging and attentive and the atmosphere is a laid back sports bar vibe, but with a killer BBQ menu! Will definitely be back.
