I ordered a slice of Margharita pizza for $5, which may seem high, but is shockingly about the same price as Pizza Pizza or Pizza Girls. So it isn't the cheapest, but it surpasses the equivalently priced competition when it comes to quality. The crust was honestly the best part. Practially perfect in a delicious way. The sauce and cheese had light, delicate flavours. Just a solid slice all around. The atmosphere was fun, with paper plates covered with customers' doodles covering the walls. There was also a retro gaming station set up to keep children entertained. I will say that the seating is keeping with the gentrified aesthetic, which means they are metal and uncomfortable. I wouldn't want to sit on them longer than 10-15 minutes. So if you want a quick slice of pizza in Dartmouth, Yeah Yeahs is a decent choice.
My only honest concern about this place is that it 's not closer to my house. As a person who likes delicious, vaguely-authentic pizza pies, the 400m walk is kind of a struggle. 'Why can 't the pizza be closer to me? ' I ask myself this every waking second of the day. And don 't get me started about the evenings. This is probably the second best pizza I 've had in Canada, but there is bias. Nothing will ever beat Sepp 's in Edmonton, although Yeah Yeahs is basically the same dish, just served with a little less nostalgia for my wife and I. Order yourself two 18 ' pies, bros and brodettes, eat it in two days, and a workout forever after. The Boss pizza is divine.
It is up there with one of the best slices of Margherita pizzas I have ever had. The crust was chewy but not tough. The sauce was delicate and not overly spiced. Not too much cheese. It really was perfect in its simplicity. (Which is what a margarita pizza should be. I will be thinking about that pizza for a while. And I will be visiting again, when I return to Halifax/Dartmouth.
My new favorite pizza in NS. It's a lot like a New York style. Thin crust, not super heavy on the toppings, which I love. Crust was amazing, and the sauce was bright and fresh! Will be back for sure.
Delicious!! If you haven't tried Yeah Yeahs pizza yet.. well what are you waiting for??? Simple menu. Fresh ingredients. Oh and I can't forget to mention the Ceasar Salad
