My husband and I decided to try out this restaurant located on the waterfront during our stay. It stood out from the other restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a big mistake. I ordered the lamb, which had more fat than meat. My wife opted for the pork belly, but it was dry and lacked crackling. We also ordered a side of Greek Salad. As frequent visitors to Greece and Greek restaurants in Brisbane, we were disappointed with the quality of the food.
Very good Greek food on the waterfront in Darwin. Excellent service including from the delightful waitress Georgia. Delicious food and a good 'twist' on baklava given the baklava cheesecake desert. Well priced and centrally located.
Well, we were desperate to enjoy some GREEK style Octopus Friday nite as we had done quite a lot in the GREEK isles and coast last year. After a search found a restaurant about 5 km away. Unfortunately we stubbled over Antiquity and I cancelled the first booking.Wonderful spot among the row of various specialties along the waterfront. Service ok and ordered a bottle of wine before ordering. Second mistake. With wine in hand we ordered Octopus ( about 7pm) , only to be told they couldn't get any.....?? Darwin, fish markets, tourist choked. Kidding.Ok let's have the fish..... Nope no fish either except some tiny sardine type.Since we had the wine we persisted and ordered Saganori prawns, popular Greek dish which I can't spell. Dreadful.Wouldn't recommend. Seek elsewhere
A top location at the Waterfront with all customers out the front for the views. Small tasty plates of Greek food, wonderful cabbage salad and original eggplant dip- 2 glasses of Greek wine for $75. Slight delay with food as only 3 staff for 20 tables. Out of ribs and octopus.
