We had such a great time aboard on the Cape Adieu sunset cruise! The staff were very nice, specially thanks to Matt for making this experience possible and Mike for taking care of us at every moment. The food was delicious and the views of the sunset amazing. 100% recommendable.
We were lucky enough to book a dinner cruise with Cape Adieu on NT day, what a night great food, great company and the crew were fantastic. Shane and Matt looked after us from start to finish and the fireworks display was awesome. My wife and I would recommend this trip to all who visit Darwin.
Enjoyed the entree, prawns and oysters, salads average, main meals average, but I'd go back again next time in Darwin.
We thought a sunset dinner cruise would be a great way to spend the last day of our holiday in Darwin and unfortunately it was not a great ending. The staff were lovely however the food was below average. We were given cheap crackers with dip, deep fried fish when we thought we would get grilled salmon as per the menu and the steak was horrible to say the least. The oysters were nice and that was about it. There were no drinks included either. The boat was very run down and had camping chairs as dining chairs so it was not a luxury dining experience it was more like a 1990's fishing boat. Horrible access to the toilets which were down a steep ladder. The view of the sunset was not on our side of the boat and the skipper did not swap sides so all passengers would have a view. I'm so shocked that there were such good reviews as that is why I booked this cruise however it is not worth paying $110 per person. When it says a 4 course dinner you expect to be served however part of this was a buffet experience which was not mentioned in the advert. I would suggest looking towards other charter companies as we were very disappointed.
