Pirates And Grill - Dauphin Island

This place was recommended to me by a local. Boy, that wasn't disappointed! I had the Blackened Shrimp BLT with Coleslaw and roasted Okra. Amazing! This sandwich was the best shrimp sandwich I ever had. And this view! To die. I went down and went to the beach after my meal. This place is a must for Dauphin Island. I dropped at 4:30 without waiting. I'm told this place can be pretty busy later in the evening, so make your reservations!

We really enjoyed the view there, but the seat was the most out of the window so seat at the bar. Our bartender was Ahke great. We were just a mother and I was a bar corner party. The food was great, but the atmosphere was better. Would recommend it again.

This place is a great place to eat. The location is on the Alabama historical register since it was the Dauphin Island Country Club in the 60s and 70s. The architecture was really cool and the view was amazing. The food was great. I added a picture of the darkened Mahi Tacos. The portions were dimensioned well and they did not sneak on the meat. When you visit, go to the top floor and eat there... it is worth the trip.

The food here is excellent. The atmosphere is great. The service was also very good. If you are looking for a fantastic menu, this is the place. I recommend the Royal Red Sautee. The menu also has a great variety.

Excellent! We enjoyed the food, the service, the scenery, the music! This is a great place to dine and happy to give 5 stars. We had brunch and we all enjoyed it. I had the crab cakes meal. My husband had the BEC burger and our son had chicken waffles. The staff is so friendly! Make sure you come visit! You’ll enjoy it.
