Rajasthani Midway Restaurant - Dausa

The food was poor quality and overpriced. It seems like the drivers charge extra to take you there. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs!

BEWARE FOREIGNERS!! If your driver brings you to this place, make sure that you are aware that you are the victim of a scam. I noticed they hand you an overpriced menu that is different for foreigners than it is for the locals. I was able to glance over at a menu for the locals that is vastly different! Food is ****, the service is ****. The prices are comical. 3 cheese naans and a couple of drinks and the price is 1200 rupees!! Criminal!! If you end up coming here make sure that you ask for the REAL menu, and if they refuse, you should refuse to eat here!! The drivers are in on the racket as well! This place needs to be shut down. Beware!!

The restaurant provided a separate air-conditioned dining area, which was a welcome relief from the heat. The food was decent for a light lunch while traveling between Agra and Jaipur.

Awful experience at this restaurant. The one star is for having paper, water, and soap in the toilets, not for the condition of the toilets which was terrible. We waited over 20 minutes for two drinks, and when they finally arrived, the coffee was undrinkable. This was our first bad experience in 7 weeks of travel in India! The waiters were yelling at each other, and even other customers joined in. Overall, a horrible experience.

Didn 't expect this at lunch on a service area halfway between Agra and Jaipur. We ate Mushroom "Green curry with Kashmiri pulao and garlic naan. Delightful. Just spicy enough (medium). Price including a litre of mineral water. 850 INR or 10 USD.
