Mesa Filipino Moderne - Davao

The restaurant is decent overall, but the food is definitely impressive. My dad absolutely loves her Kare Kare; it's the best we've ever had! However, we were a bit disappointed with the sinigang. It felt more like a broth and didn't have the expected tanginess—sinigang should be sour, but it wasn't. Also, it seemed a bit pricey.

I had an absolutely amazing experience with the baby squid prepared in garlic and olive oil, as well as the Adobo baby squid in its own ink! Both dishes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Additionally, the service was outstanding!

If you enjoy shopping malls, this place is worth a visit. It's quite vibrant, with a lot of expats around and a variety of restaurants to choose from. There's also a well-stocked DIY store. The food is good, although there aren't too many European options like Lanang or Swiss Deli.

Good food and good service.
