Promoted a St. Patty’s Day Aroma (Lucky Charms). Web and telephone messages said they were open. But after we drove there, we found it closed!! You didn't change anything on Web or Voicemail.
The shop is small and brightly decorated, featuring benches along one side made from what looks like ski equipment (boards? other snow sliding gear? I'm not quite sure...). The floor is a shiny new wooden laminate, and the ceiling is bright white, illuminated with a mix of fluorescent and hanging dome lights. Everything looks clean, bright, and cheerful—just what an ice cream shop should be. I decided to go for the orange pineapple flavor for my dessert. I had initially expected it to be sorbet, but I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be real ice cream! It had the delicious fruity flavor I was hoping for, combined with the smooth texture that you’d expect from hand-crafted ice cream. Absolutely delightful! Considering the relatively small size of East Davenport, I can easily see myself returning for more special nights like this—dinner followed by ice cream at this charming spot. I can't wait for my next visit. Thank you! Here's the scoop!
So far, I've tried the birthday cake and the watermelon mint sorbet, and they were fantastic! The sorbet tasted just like fresh watermelon with a hint of mint—absolutely delightful! My husband had the chocolate cake batter, and he really enjoyed it. I can't wait to return and sample more delicious offerings!
What better way to celebrate National Ice Cream Day than at the best ice cream shop in the QC? Seriously, if you're looking for the finest homemade ice cream, this is the place to go!
