Huhot Mongolian Grill - Davenport

This was our first visit, and I can't believe we haven't come here before! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the place was spotless. The all-you-can-eat option was fantastic! The waitresses were amazing, and there was an excellent variety of dishes to choose from. We'll certainly be back again in the future! Everything was delicious—great job, everyone! We absolutely loved it!

The prices for lunch remain quite reasonable. While they've cut back on the amount of beef offered and removed certain vegetables, they've also introduced some new vegetarian options. However, the barbecue staff doesn't seem to focus on keeping the food properly cooked, and it appears they are trying to get everyone else to do less work than their employees.

Our waitress was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the drink options as well as how much oil or sauce to use with our stirring frits, especially since we mentioned we were new and unsure of the process. I found it helpful to separate the proteins from the vegetables and noodles into two bowls, given the small size of the bowls. The cook was also very friendly and helpful when we reached the barbecue area. She patiently explained that oils and sauces were necessary to prevent the food from burning, as we seemed a bit confused. Despite all of her talking, she expertly prepared our food while ensuring other orders remained separate to avoid mixing. As for the food options, they offer vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, and diabetic-friendly choices! Shrimp is only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays after 4 PM; otherwise, you can find crabs, pollock, chicken, beef, pork, meatballs, and tofu as regular protein options. However, if you have allergies, I wouldn’t recommend the buffet-style setup, as cross-contamination can occur. The price for two meals with drinks and a 25% tip came to $45, which was just under $34 without a tip. It’s hard to beat those prices! I will definitely be coming back!

This is a great place to eat your family. My husband took me to a lunch before he had to go to work yesterday. I took him and my brother here for the first time last year and both loved it. We love that we get to create our own dish and there can be another creation every time you go back to get more food. With the various sauces and oils you can add, your creation can be hot and spicy or mild... your choice. Watching you, cooking your creation before you is sometimes a show of yourself. We're going back. Note: The place was full when we arrived, but when I took Pix, most people were done and left.

The food was excellent and very delicious! All the staff were incredibly kind and courteous during our experience and the grill cook was on point! Fantastic restaurant and a personal favorite in the QC area!
