The menu offered a fantastic variety of options; some of us ordered baguettes, while others chose sausage and mash or ham and eggs. The service was quick and the food was delicious. However, one thing to note is that the sausages weren't browned all over, leaving some pale spots. There was also a nice selection of quality beers! Price per person: £10–20. Food rating: 5.

Avoid this place! Although it’s advertised as a dog-friendly pub, it really isn’t. We arrived at 7:30 PM with our two dogs, hoping to get some food before the 8:30 PM closing time listed for meals, but were rudely informed by the bar staff that dogs were not allowed inside. We were told we would need to go outside with our drinks. To make matters worse, the bar lady told us that the kitchen had already closed for the night. The owner was just as unhelpful. If you have dogs and want to enjoy a meal in the evening, steer clear of this pub! Service rating: 1 star.
