Contribuisci feedbackI was in this hotel when I visited my cousins in mooresville. the people in this hotel do not seem very friendly or welcoming, and I had to sign something to bring my pet into the hotel, what I do all the time, but this had all these things, which would not do and how much I would get into trouble if I did. most places I stay at say that they are glad that we have brought our pet, and sometimes even have a leaf about local pet doctors or a bag of doggie tasty. the room itself was good, although this hotel is very dated. there are very few plug-ins for reloading in the room, and I suspect that 's one of the reasons why they renovate the place. the main problem was that I was looking for one of the small containers of dishwasher fluid so I could wash a few more utensils before I left. When I called the recipe, they said they had no rinsing liquid and then if I wanted to clean a little, I would have to run it through the dishwasher. I thought I'd wash these utensils at my next stop. such a pain. on the way out, I suggested that they have a few flax rinse fluid in the writing for people who want it, and one of the women interrupted me and said: we didn't have this here. we only have the powder. I felt as if I were in new york city with this kind. then I told them I made a suggestion and told them I would never return to this hotel. I really don't think they were interested. do not define my usual experience with hilton hotels and as a diamond member. I hope they get their act in order, and begin to be more friendly and customer-oriented. I used to be customer service manager, and if this for me I would have gone into the load and got the flush for the gast or somehow a solution, instead of just tough luck, charlie. bad vibes.
I stayed here 3 nights with my family and the stay was a number of problems. I called 2 hours before our late arrival to make sure that the pull-out bed was formed so that my son could go straight to bed when we arrived never happened and we had to find bed linen and make it ourselves at 130am, the next day we were out all day, but the room was not cleaned and we had to go to get dry towels, the following day we asked 3 times and the room was never cleaned. The dishes in the kitchen were dirty and baked with leftover food and the furniture was dirty and dusty. The beds were rough and not clean. No safe or iron in the room??? The walls are thin, at night the person was over us with the bathroom and then we rinsed into a room next to the exit, hotel laundry and lock doors Breakfast was cold and embarrassing daily and you had to share with housekeeping staff who always cleansed fruits and warm eggs daily. The reception staff were most days on their phones on personal calls or facetime, the communication hard made I asked to connect to the GM, but never heard of them and they were never available. My son plans to take part in Davidson College, and we will never stay here again, based on the staff and the property that I am a Diamond Member who visits Hiltons a lot and that was the worst experience I've ever had
My family had 2 rooms for a 3-night stay. We killed a very big cockroache in one of the bedrooms. Disgusting and disappointing. When we arrived, the a/c in one of the bedrooms had a problem and was incredibly clanky and loud. As such we could not use it in the first night, as it was too loud to sleep. We were told that maintenance would not be available until the next day - maintenance came and fix the problem the next day, and we appreciate it. The ice machine on our floor did not work. A room had no disturbing sign and when my daughter went to the reception to get one, there was no one who could help her (and she waited for a while. There is no guide for the TV, and the screen guide does not work... so there is no way to find a channel, etc... and the TV signal remains ice cold. We asked to serve both rooms, but only one was. When we tried after our stay the young lady who was in service (which was very polite 't behind the reception - she was on her way to the bar area with a to-go food container. She said she'd check us out later. When I told her about the cockroache, she told me that I had the manager e-maile I did (and sent the photo, and I still have to get an answer. We paid almost $2,000 for our stay, and we shouldn't have big cockroaches in our bedroom. Thank God, we saw it in time to kill it when it went to bed and find it among our duvets would have been even more terrible.
For a nicely decorated room and common areas in a great location there are a few things that do not make this stay a 5-star review. Your T. V.s are antiquated and not smart. No way to stream or watch movies except HBO. Your breakfast meat and egg options are terrible tasting. I have in fewer hotels with better food and even McDonalds is better (which I don't often eat).
Stayed at the Davidson Homewood Suites for three nights during the last week of September 2022. Honestly, I read many bad reviews about this hotel and almost canceled and booked another hotel. Luckily, there were enough good reviews to convince me to take my chances and keep this reservation. I'm glad I did. I have no problems to report. I had little interaction with hotel staff but what I did have was pleasant and professional. Our suite was clean and comfortable. We had one of the few rooms that had a small balcony which made it nice to sit outside and enjoy a beverage in the evening after a day of sightseeing. This hotel is in a great location, just off the highway and very close to downtown Davidson. We definitely would stay here again if we ever come back to the areal
