Sudwerk And Brewery - Davis

The food at Sudwerks is genuinely good, but it's quite pricey for a bar in Davis. It's more akin to dining at California Pizza Kitchen than at Domino's. Unfortunately, the service was lacking as well. It felt like they prioritized drinks over dining, as they kept coming by every ten minutes to check if we wanted more to drink.

I really enjoy this brewery. They have a dollar pint night every week, which is a lot of fun, and I can grab a cedar and some hot wings. The hot wings are definitely the best dish to have there.

I worked at this restaurant/brewery for four years and I still love it. The food is a bit pricey, but that's not the main attraction—it's the incredible beer! They have four year-round options: Helles, Pils, Hef, and Märzen. Plus, they offer seasonal brews; I particularly love the Mai Bock. As for the service, it can be hit or miss; sometimes the waitstaff is a bit slow or overwhelmed, and I experienced a little of both during my time there.
