El Toro Mexican Grill - Dayton

After a short break from work, my friends and I decided to grab some light snacks and drinks at this restaurant. I ordered a delicious strawberry mango margarita, which was amazing. The 6-piece chicken wings I ordered were perfectly cooked and crispy, and they came with a tasty sauce that really enhanced the flavor. I will definitely be returning to try more items on their menu.

The El Toro signature drink and salad were both very good. The second picture is the quesadilla supreme which also is very good. We have gotten consistent service here and I'd recommend stopping by if you're in town.

The food was decent, but I've had better. The service was absolutely terrible, my ten-year-old niece even said she never wants to come back here again.

The El Toro in Englewood had a promising start but unfortunately went downhill, especially for me as a frequent customer. This is the second time they have messed up my order. The first time I ordered chimichangas with rice instead of beans and fajitas, but when I got home, the fajitas were missing and the chimichangas were lacking salad, tomato, and acidic sauce. The salsa they provided with the chips was almost empty. I decided to give them another chance and ordered chimichangas with rice again, making sure to check everything this time. However, when I got home, the chimichangas were soggy. When I called to complain, I was told that the staff on duty was on break and I could drive back to get a new order. I will not be going back to El Toro and will instead try a different restaurant for Mexican food.
