This particular Maverick station used to be a nice clean place where you could get gas, pick up something you may have forgotten at the market on the way home, perhaps grab a snack, or even a surprisingly decent meal on the go, and from a selection of wide variety I might add. But in the last few years, It has declined increasingly in all previous mentioned aspects. Currently, it is not much more than a place to fuel up and maybe pick up a bottled drink or a candy bar. The food now served is poor, over priced, and sloppily presented. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The employees are unattentive and noticeably disgruntled. Which from what I have observed through the years since the grand opening is justified, albeit inexcusable in practice. I try to avoid this place as much as possible for anything more than fuel. Hopefully it will come back around to being a place deserving of a fine review. But not today.
Really nice gas station, super clean and with good selection and fair gas prices. But every morning there is a line of customers 4-12 deep waiting to checkout and leave, while one employee acts as cashier, the manager checks his emails in plain view of the line of customers, and a third employee stocks the chips or some other shelf that it seems could have been done before it was busy, or after the morning rush! It sometimes take ten minutes just to buy a coffee...
The clerk was very sick. Sniffling badly while ringing me up with no gloves or mask on. When he finished bagging my groceries, he wiped his snotty nose with his bare hands. How many times had he done that before handling my drinks with his bare, snotty hands? If you're sick, stay home! Maverick management: PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES SICK DAYS SO THEY DON'T COME TO WORK SICK!!!!
I like this maverick, good service, competitive prices, decent food items when the kitchen is open.
As the country is trying to recover from record high inflation, a pandemic and a party in the White House that has no idea what they are doing and can't figure out what bathroom to use, we have a company that is gouging and prices to a record high. Gas prices are $0.20 $0.30 more per gallon, milk is over $2.00 $5.39) more and even their candy needs a loan on your home to buy. Walked into this maverick, four employees doing nothing, and everything I seen was price far more than even a loves gas station. When this is all said and done, and this administration is history, so will this comp The Milk had good dating and was bad. I'm sure I could return it, but it's not worth the trip.
