There was one near the airport, and it would always be a treat to stop on the way back home (I had the personal pepperoni deep dish an IBC rootbeer float every time). However, I recently tried it again and found that my memory had fallen short in a number of areas.For me, a good deep dish starts with a great crust. Here, I found the dough to be spongy, overly greasy, and comparable to what you mind find in a tube of Pillsbury dough. On top of that, put a layer of super oily cheese and some not very well seasoned canned stewed tomatoes, and this does not lend particularly well to a delicious pizza. Ah, the tragedy of misremembered youth!

We contacted Unos about having our Carroll High School wrestling banquet there and they were very accommodating for 70+ wrestlers and parents. Moving tables and setting up a special area for our awards. The food and service were amazing. I can't say enough about this place and the staff. Would like to give a special thanks to the manager Joe for making this happen and to Katy the evening manager and our waitress Becky Clark for all of her help and keeping on top of things she did a wonderful job.
Best pizza crust I have ever tasted, it was like a pastry crust! So good, and service was great thanks Matt!!
