Rusty Bucket And Tavern - Dayton

The server was attentive, friendly, and non-intrusive. However, the restaurant itself was in poor condition. The front entrance sign was missing some letters, and the tables and booths were well worn and in need of replacement. The food was decent, but my bun was toasted yet lukewarm, suggesting it had been sitting out for a while. The fries were also not hot and seemed not freshly prepared. I mentioned this to the server, indicating that I wasn't looking for a replacement but just wanted her to be aware. She returned a few minutes later with new fries, but unfortunately, they also appeared to have been kept under heat lamps or in a holding area rather than freshly cooked. On a positive note, the pork tenderloin was crispy and flavorful, and the salmon was quite tasty, appearing to be fresh rather than frozen. The accompanying salad had been altered, featuring too much fennel and an excessive amount of Brussels sprouts. Overall, the experience was just okay. The restaurant could benefit from a thorough deep cleaning and a few updates.

I found myself alone this evening as my wife and child were out, so I decided to head over to Rusty Bucket, Restaurant, and Tavern. I opted to sit at the bar and was warmly welcomed by two fantastic bartenders, Sam and Madi, who worked seamlessly together. I ordered the chicken finger BLT, which isn’t listed on the menu unless you ask for it nicely. It’s the only dish I’ve ever had at this place since it opened several years ago. Once again, the sandwich was perfect, and the service was exceptional! Thank you for another five-star experience, Rusty Bucket! I will definitely be back!

While in town for a wedding, we wanted to try somewhere new since we don't have a Rusty Bucket nearby. I convinced my husband to join me for a spicy Bloody Mary and a buffalo chicken sandwich. The food was excellent, and our server, Ashley, was outstanding. My husband really enjoyed the fish and chips, and the Brussels sprouts have become a new favorite of mine!

Our first visit today and definitely not our last! The moment we walked in we were greeted by the Hostess who was very polite and friendly! We were seated right away. Our Waitress arrived shortly and took our drink orders and answered any questions wehad. Our Waitress was wonderful! She kept a check on us the entire time, but was not overly attentive. While we were eating wenotice how professional the entire staff was! The Hostess greeted everyone coming in the door as well as thanking them forcoming and telling them to have a nice day. We also saw that not only was the Manager helping to serve food to tables, but alsochecking on them to see if they were enjoying their food! Our food arrived at our table hot, fresh, together and delicious! Itis wonderful seeing so many people working together and ensuring that everyone that came in was comfortable and satisfied withtheir dining experience! Keep up the great work!

Good food to go with great beer. Service was great, very tentative and friendly. Glad we didn't bring the kiddos, I'm sure there's something that few kids would eat, but not my picky eaters. More of an adult menu, according to my household. Would goagain as a date night, most definitely. If you haven't tried it, worth the visit. I've pictured their Cheese steak sub, withonion rings.
