Contribuisci feedbackThe food was good. the chef was okay, you could say he was still learning. they did not ask them if they want any sauces as they were before. our bill was wrong. they were very busy and we have a hard time to take care of everyone.
The first time my work group came into this restaurant, we felt like our experience was fantastic! our chef was the absolute best. that was back in november 2022. Not so much yesterday. we were back at benihana for another birthday party that was not recognized, we asked for additional garlic butter, so bite and extra spices that we did not receive and found it bang that we all were paid for the service costs for each bill also after drinking. this is double dive best. our food was not good enough to be charged what we were charged, as most of the items were over salt and some of the foods were shortened, like the garnel portions that went from 5 pieces to 3. our gas representative was very nice, but would have explained the processes and fees without leaving any patron to use the credit card readers from themselves to find out how to tap or get excempt from them. I will not recommend or return this place.
The people at my table were very nice. we all had a good time. the cook was good. that was delicious. the server was slow, unattended and put her tipp on my bill as if I did not notice. she hoped we were going, but I spoke to the manager who tried to explain that the bill was correct and then realized that it wasn't and refunded my money and apologized that the waitress was new. Please check your bill before payment and if you use a credit or debit card, check it again as soon as they process it. she knew what she did, she was just caught because as the overage was the same amount as a 18% tipp. the only person who got a tipp was the cook.
Our cook was great! the waitress was ok, just a little occupied, but overall good. great people to eat. the restaurant was a little dirty. the floor had eat everywhere and our grill was really dirty before the cook cleaned it to cook our good. suppe was extremely salty and dark in color that we assumed it was too much soy sauce. she took her back, so some of us ordered sushi to have before dinner. later she brought out the suppe, but we had already started eating.
15-20 minute wait for seating on a reservation. An hour plus wait for the chef to arrive at the table and begin cooking. Waitress did a good job. A bit pricey for the service and quality of food.
