A Decatur restaurant has announced it will permanently close its dining operations in mid-May, but will continue to offer some services. The Aloha Hawaiian-Chinese Restaurant, located at 3025 N. Kandy Lane, will cease in-person dining on Saturday, May 14. However, starting May 15, customers will still be able to place carryout orders and enjoy bar and gaming services.
The service was impressively quick, and even with a larger group, the atmosphere remained relatively calm and comfortable. There was plenty of seating available, and the food was delicious and well-prepared. The prices were reasonable, and everything was clean, contributing to a great overall experience. I highly recommend Aloha Restaurant if you're in search of a solid Chinese meal or want to try some Asian and Hawaiian seafood options. You definitely won't regret your decision to dine here!
I received a call from my cousin with some shocking news: Aloha is closing its doors this month. I could hardly believe what I was hearing; it felt like an unbelievable lie. Unfortunately, it's true. When I heard it, I dropped to my knees, clutching my chest, gasping for air in disbelief, and reached my hands to the sky, praying for forgiveness for moving away without saying goodbye to an old friend. My emotions are all over the place right now—confusion, hurt, emptiness—it feels overwhelming. You were the hidden gem of Decatur, excelling in customer service, cleanliness, and serving up that delicious pineapple chicken. "You jump, I jump," right? I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. I'm not saying you have to, but if you'd like, please email me for my address to send over recipe cards and samples. Until next time, my dear friends.
Aloha Restaurant is a unique dining experience that combines Chinese cuisine with a touch of Polynesian flair. While it doesn't fully embrace the Polynesian theme, it offers a delightful array of seafood and intriguing flavor combinations that have me eager to return. The service is impressively quick, and even with a larger group, the atmosphere remained pleasantly quiet. The restaurant is spacious, the food is well-prepared, and the prices are reasonable. We had a great time overall. If you're looking for a quality Chinese restaurant, definitely give Aloha a try. And if you're in the mood for some Asian or Hawaiian seafood, this is the place to be. You won't regret spending your money here.
