Contribuisci feedbackWe had a lovely visit in the late morning. The food was both delicious and affordable, and the service was outstanding. Krista made us feel welcome and took great care of us—thank you! During our visit, there were two notable situations. First, a fire marshal came for a routine inspection, which caused unexpected delays for us and other customers. The staff handled it well, explaining the situation and offering their apologies, and they even took the initiative to accommodate the patrons during the delays. While these regulatory situations are understandable, there was an interaction with a particularly disgruntled customer that was disappointing to witness. Despite the challenges, the staff dealt with the irate customer with grace and respect. Kudos to the team for their professionalism!
I’ll start by mentioning that the restaurant was quite busy when we arrived, which was understandable as we waited about 10 minutes for a table. The front-of-house staff was excellent, but the kitchen could use some improvement. I ordered the Breakfast Sampler, asking for my eggs to be cooked over medium, crispy bacon, and crispy hash browns. Unfortunately, the eggs came out over hard and the bacon was limp. When I brought this to the server's attention, she said she would have them replaced. However, the lady who brought out the new eggs served them over easy instead. Additionally, the pancakes, which I prefer to eat last, hadn’t even been melted with the butter placed between them.
IHOP is our favorite restaurant, and this Texas location did not disappoint. The staff was incredibly friendly, and our food arrived quickly and hot.
This is a fantastic late-night spot for me and my daughter to enjoy some quality time and a meal together. The waitress was wonderful—very friendly and engaging. Since the place was nearly empty except for us and two other tables, she was able to provide us with excellent service and chat with us throughout our visit.
So I visit this location about 6 to 10 times a year. Normally, it would be 5 stars all around, but tonight was the exception. We waited 8 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were standing there,(a lot of the waitstaff looked at us, but never came over or said a word) then about 5 more minutes before we were seated. If they had been really busy, this would 've been expected, but they only had about 6 tables of 3 or 4 patrons to 4 waitstaff. A group of about 3 waiters/waitresses were very loudly complaining about a superior staff member who had just left, and while they weren 't cursing, the language was not dinner conversation. This seemed to happen over and over as they passed one another or remembered something else that bugged them. We were never offered or brought water at any time. Our meals looked very thrown together, and my cinastack pancakes looked like they forgot what they were, so they just poured the filling on top like syrup and left the crossing drizzle off completely. My coffee was never refilled or offered to be. All in all, this was one of my worst experiences at this location, and if this group of staff is the new normal, I won 't be coming back.
