Napoleon's Grill - Decatur

I know what you're asking yourselves, why did it only get 4 stars if the food, service, and atmosphere are so great. Well it is because I like the place but there are little things that are unusual to be as a patron. For instance I'm sure you will have no problem finding something on the menu for your palate, like the smoked wings or the grouper sandwich, but it has to be one of the most unusual menus I've ever seen. But I do have to reiterate that there is something for most of us to choose from. Then there is the entertainment on Friday night, which usually draws a crowd I might add. But again, very diverse. Could be christian rock, could be a cover band or it could be a group with all originals. All are fine, but you might be surprised if you don't check ahead of time. Will any of these things deter me from going back, probably not.

Had a wonderful time here last night with friends. They had live music and the service by Lisa and David was excellent, it's a very chill vibe here. A warm and welcoming environment, family friendly. The drinks and appetizers are on point. Highly recommend the sweet potato waffle fries and their chicken wings. We'll definitely be back. I have got to try the burgers, the table next to ours got their food and it looked amazing.

Our first visit, but it won't be our last. Food was excellent and although the restaurant was VERY busy, the manager Haley saved the day. She took our table treated us like we were her only guests being both personable efficient. Also, since we didn't have an assigned server, I must commend the team approach the staff took to taking care of us. I hope her staff appreciates Haley half as much as we did.

Beautiful place. Food service was sporadic, and apologies were made about the kitchen being backed up, but there were only 3 small groups in there at the time when it came out, it was OK. Service was fine. Nothing spectacular or memorable.

This is a cool spot. The band playing tonight was pretty good, except the sound is so blessed loud, consider bringing ear plugs! It was really hard to speak to any of the staff. Our server, Jackie, is amazing, very attentive. I recommend sitting in their section when you visit. My BF I ordered a few beers. He had the Napoleon Burger I ordered the classic chicken finger basket. We also treated ourselves to dessert: he had the brownie w/ice cream and I had the Crème Brûlée. Both desserts were very tasty and filling! We are stuffed!
