Red Barn Kitchen - Decatur

We LOVE Red Barn. The food is amazing and all made from scratch. My daughter is an extremely picky eater and will eat multiple items from the brunch menu. I highly recommend the french onion soup, it is delicious. Another perk of eating here is it islocated at the airport so you can watch planes land and take off.

The Pork Belly and Pork Dumplings were amazing. But, the Chicken and Waffles were, hands down, the best I've ever had. Excellent service and a great view. 5/5, will be returning soon.

The restaurant in Decatur's tiny airport is surprisingly beautiful. It has an upscale and elegant atmosphere. Although our server was not the best, we understood that he was new. The menu is a bit limited and the prices are a bit high, but everyone at our table enjoyed their meals. We will probably come back again in the future.

I had an excellent dinner at this restaurant. The appetizers, main course, and after-dinner coffee all had fantastic flavors and were beautifully presented. The service was also very good.

After reading through numerous reviews and witnessing the owner's harsh response to a simple comment about the restaurant being closed on a Sunday at 3:30, it's clear that his attitude is off-putting. Customers have also complained about having to wait for a table despite many being empty, as well as the high prices for small portions of food. Despite positive comments about the delicious and fresh food and excellent service, the negative experiences deter us from wanting to dine at this restaurant.
