Sunrise (the Breakfast Place) - Decherd

Wife and I were in and out, full, in 20 minutes. Amazing pancakes, chopped beef platter was on point. We drove 40 minutes to get here and may do that every Sunday. They're also OPEN ON SUNDAYS.

We’ve been here once before and the price was ridiculous and the omelette was undercooked. We stayed away for a while. Today we tried to give them a second chance. We were sat at a table and waited. Someone else was sat after us. They got their orders taken before us and received their drinks and food before us. The same people played loud music on their phone and no one said anything about it. Very obnoxious and rude. My egg was undercooked. The rest of the food was just okay. Service was so-so. And after all that, it cost 2 people $40 plus tip to eat. Needless to say we won’t be going back.

Just WOW. Food was fine. The kitchen royally messed up my simple order. This was followed by a refusal to fix it, telling me it would be comped, and then bringing me a half excuse of an order to charge me full price. On top of it all, I had to ask for a plate numerous times, and the staff took a plate my child was eating off of, and invoked an angry toddler by stealing her food without a word!!!! Worst experience from a family owned business. Would NEVER recommend.

Great food; everything is organic and sliced daily. Food came out in less than 5 min it seemed. Service was über fast. Would come again.
