Came to Decorah for my reunion and wanted to make sure I went to the Koop for Lefsa. Wasn't disappointed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Love this place!

I?m visiting from out of town and wanted to support local business and enjoy the experience of shopping at a small co-op. Yes, the prices are a bit higher, but if you know and expect that going in? and remember the choices are high quality and organic? it?s a great experience. This may sound silly, but I loved that I could buy one carrot or one stalk of celery at a time, since I was only cooking for one. I wanted to do some baking while I?m here, and I loved the bulk options so I could get just what I needed without having to have a lot of wasted ingredients. I also enjoyed the selection of local wine and beer, so it was a great one-stop shop to try some local favorites. The employees were friendly and helpful, and I didn?t feel out of place here.

Staff was very helpful and loved the variety of products everything is about a dollar more expensive than other supermarkets, but it is all organic and we were just on the street. You calculate 20 per year to 140.00 to become a member and you get 19percent discount, so it is a decent deal. Just remember that you get back your 20 with a purchase of 200.00, so it's not that bad. Food was good and they have a lot to offer a look.
