I personally haven't eaten here but the word of mouth from friends say it's awesome and affordable, especially breakfast.
Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday, did not realize that the kitchen closed at 1. Stayed for a beer and a **** Mary. The **** was one of the best I'd had in a long time. I would definatly recommend it. Other than needing a few signs posted for kitchen hours this is a pretty classic dive bar. Dated, but charming. Would recommend for a chill afternoon watching a game.
The restaurant appears to be a lovely spot, but I can't provide an opinion on the food since we arrived after 1:00 PM. Just a heads-up: the kitchen closes at 1:00, so if you're hoping for a meal later, you might be out of luck.
This restaurant has the classic appearance of a "dive bar." It's frequented by many locals from the neighborhood. The staff and bartender were very friendly, and the drink prices were quite reasonable—about half of what you'd typically pay here on the East Coast.
I had a fantastic time watching HeroJr perform last night, and it was awesome to see my nephew Ryan on the drums! Keep rocking!
