WF was out of my normal brand of Italian roast bean so I bought this. Quality coffee with great flavors, but the flavors of a medium roast. Made it in a french press. I'm taking a star off because the french roast is a medium roast blend at best. See the picture, it's not a true french roast that is oily, dark and earthy. But I will keep for my days when I'm looking for a quality medium roast.

Just made my second order. These beans are freshly roasted and it's rewarding to brew them and learn to taste the differences in coffee options.

The best coffee I’ve ever had, and we love that it’s local! Our favorite is Espresso Blue but we have a couple other blends that we rotate. We always recommend it to friends or give as gifts. There’s nothing like fresh ground Fazenda coffee in the morning!

Excellent coffee. Buy the beans from Whole Foods every week and have yet to be disappointed. Favorite is the Costa Rica El Conquistador. More light than medium. Great black or with milk.
