Went for the lunch special of pasta, was charge and then they lost my order waited over minutes for this determination, I ask for my money back the young girl freeaked out and didnt know how to do it so just walked away...I...tried to explain to the boss I have been charged twice she just ignored me and yelling hte back ground and then threw a **** pasta in a bowl at me. Im so angry I work here in DY and I will tell everyone. no courtesy to stop and listen and work out what im saying ...... Over charge **** pasta no napkin, no fork, no parmensen.
My husband and I ordered delivery from here tonight. Everything about the company was great, the service was great, but the pizza was a bit disappointing. It seems like they put it in the oven on too high of heat. The Margherita was only cheese,...so a bit plain... the pepperoni was completely covered in pepperoni so I thought it was a bit much. Unfortunately it wasn’t worth it but the pasta may be good!
I usually buy a small pizza from Dominos or Pizza Hut once or twice a month because we can't make that pizza at home for the price. But my lady wanted to try this place so we did. It is not really in Oaks Avenue...although that is its legal address, but in the Dee Why Market between Oaks and Pacific Parade. Now that Hit Café has moved it is the first place on the right if you enter from Oaks. They offer a lunch-only pizza from but that is for one person with a dwarf appetite. We bought an Americano with double pepperoni for which was at most more than either of the chains (probably less) to take away. The Hit Café has left some of what I thought were their tables and chairs (although maybe they shared then split them) so there are places to sit, also you can buy salad in big plastic containers and soft drinks are The pizza was very good, thin crust standard and the meat was at least double as they said. It was very filling and although we bought it for lunch we still had pieces as an entrée for dinner. It was better enough than the Dominos right across the road that if we needed to get pizza for an impromptu meal with unexpected guests I would pay the few dollars extra for this, and they are as fast as the chain kitchens.
We got that they promised, a pizza on thin sourdough base. We shared an Americano pizza, that comes with double Pepperoni. The order was ready in no time, and picking up our box, we just walked home with it. It supposed to be our lunch,...but it became lunch and an entree for the dinner for the two of us. Partly because on the thin crust these lots of pepperoni was too rich for me. A Hawaiian probably would be a better choice, at least for me. Compare them to other pizza restaurants, the much cheaper Dominos serves just as fast and just as good pizzas, only slightly smaller ones. They aren't bad, but I won't bother to go there again.
