You have a wonderful exhibition of miniature types of animal pulled transports (i.e. horses pulled wagons, but the part that my wife and I loved most is the entire back of the museum, the local artefacts from the area divided into model spaces of this era. Can't recommend enough.
It was free to walk the old West town very interesting to see the past that it is directly opposite the old prison. Self-guided tour
We didn't know what we would see. It was about the story in Deer Lodge. I liked it! The Boedecker building was built in 1950 as a dormitory for male correction officers. We found many knives. There were necklaces, earrings and more. The trains and the horse were from the past. Weights, kitchen, saddle, many toys. A piano and an organ, a living room. It was interesting how people lived in the past. Worth seeing!

Well worth the visit. Scary to think it was used until 1979. The car museum was also well worth the visit. One ticket got you into multiple museums
