Capt. Benny's - Deer Park

They prepare good food and a very friendly atmosphere. I'm a tribal. the access to their parking is tricky, esp. drives to north on east blvd.

So glad we came across this place. Avoiding the 2hr wait at The Monument Inn, lead us here. My husband was fighting to finish his plate. Lol! He didn't want to stop eating. He did end up having to take a to go box but he finished that off as soon as we got home and was asking if we could go back the next day. We had other plans (for Mother's day so we didn't make it). Awesome food and service.

Service is great and food is good. Unfortunately, shrimps and catfish portions have shrunk tremendously. Once, upon a time, shrimps were huge. Miss the good ole days...

Oysters are fresh and very clean! Delicious I really think they are the best I've had around here! great service too!

First time at this Capt. Benny's location. We sat at the bar and the service was great. Beer was cold. The oysters were freshly shucked right in front of us and were the perfect size and had great flavor. The rest of our food came out quickly and also tasted very fresh. It was Tilapia Tuesday and the special with shrimp was just perfect. The restaurant was clean overall. If I'm on this side of town, I would come back again.
