Papa Johns Pizza - Deer Park

I'm not sure why so many bad reviews, I have always order online, so don't interact with the business, so I'm not sure why so many bad reviews

I usually don't leave reviews, but after reading others, I felt compelled to share my experience. Yesterday, my boyfriend ordered pizza for us and soon after eating it, I started feeling ill. I initially thought it was due to pregnancy, but both of us have been sick since then. The quality of the food is definitely lacking.

I was very disappointed to come here. I asked if they had any specializations in the execution and the young man did not know what I was talking about. So I just gave up the order for happiness so I wouldn't confuse him while we were standing there. he seemed lost. he might need a little more training.

I simply ordered 2 pizzas online for pickup. When I arrived, I noticed a girl, not wearing a uniform, making pizzas. I was informed that my order was not ready yet, so I went back to my car to wait. The same girl then left to go to the store next door. A man parked in front of the restaurant got out of his car and gave the girl a phone to talk on. Once he returned to his car, the girl left the store and went back to making pizzas at Pappa Boys without sanitizing. She answered the phone and handled money before going back to making pizzas. It was concerning to see the lack of sanitation, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. There were no hair nets or other hygienic practices. They did not seem to care about cleanliness, even though they were careful with other customers. The girl, although friendly, seemed more focused on other tasks than making pizzas. She wore a tie-dye shirt, which may have been distracting her from her job. It was disappointing to see the lack of attention given to hygiene in the restaurant.

I gave this restaurant three stars because I had trouble communicating with the person taking my order due to a language barrier. However, the pizza was awesome. I probably should have just ordered online instead.
