Outpost Grill - Deer River

The service at this place is terrible. eating is great, but sometimes it's not enough. if the swallow is bad, he makes the whole culinary experience terrible. the owner, jodi, is an extremely rude lady who does not care about the customers. I will not return and pass on the word. word of mouth is very powerful.

Wow! has the outpost bar and grill in deer river, mn new owners. we have been there since their opening, but never have we received so rude service from the administration as we did on May 30, 2011. remember how they read on. the customer is not inconvenience for their work, the customer is their work.

I have eaten many places there and always had wonderful service and eating. the interior is absolutely beautiful and the prices are appropriate for the amount of food they receive.

Went to the Outpost Bar Grill in Deer River, MN Friday night. I�ve kinda wanted to go there since they opened. It�s a big log building and looks nice from the outside. Haven�t heard a lot about it, either good or bad. So finally the opportunity presented itself (Friday the 13th February).

I have been there a few times, we sat at the bar and had great service. I have had the prime rib, salads, and burgers. They were all very good. They have a DJ and ladies night on sat nights which was a blast. We always go there when we are up from the cities on hunting and fishing trips.
