It wasn't until the end of the year when my friends and I decided to go all to eat in a beautiful place and it came to Il Fornaio. Il Fornaio is the perfect place for beautiful Italians. It's much more beautiful than Olive Garden, but not much more expensive. It offered a wide selection of Italian dishes that I was happy to try a lot (the benefits of eating with many people). The atmosphere is perfect not to rush like many popular restaurants and very relaxed (but still excellent service). They also offer a special menu that often changes (what I ordered), from which I ordered delicious Rigatoni. I also want to add that as I add the brunch menu, it sounded very delicious.
My daughter and I really like the food in all Il Foraio restaurants that we have tried (Coronado, Santa Monica and Del Mar), but we have found the settings and service of the restaurant staff at the Del Mar site to be unpleasant. The employees we treated were pretentious, unpleasant and inefficient. We waited for the service until the last time we had eaten there, that we almost gave up and left. Our water and tea glasses were never filled again, and our salad plates were sitting on the table during the duck, although we asked to remove them. My daughter loves the French toast served on Sunday brunch, but if not for the Pasta Putanesca, and that there is a long drive to another Il Fornaio site, I wouldn't return.
