Japanese Cafe - DEL MAR

I thought a sushi found this place a while ago when I was in Del Mar. You have a bunch of happy hour menu. Some of the popular dishes are $5! I wanted some veggie items along with some fish chicken dishes they had a great selection of options. I have to start with the Veggie-Gyoza. Very good. The Veggie inside was a bit bland, but the actual wonton was delicious. Add some hot sauce and it was just good! The chicken was perfectly cooked tasty. The yellow tail with Jalapeño was fresh. If I come back, I would definitely order it again! The seaweed salad shattered cucumbers were SO GOOD. I really pulled every record here fast. I got Mochi for Dessert, you get 2 for $6. The strawberry man is so delicious. The mango was definitely my favorite! You can really not go wrong with a delicious place with great prices services. You also have a view of the beach from the outdoor seats! So it's around a great place for your next dinner :

I thought of Shimbashi Izakaya as a beer and sushi after work today. Parking was super easy as it was in the middle of the week, and I got a table easily. During summer and weekends it is almost impossible to find parking and makes it more difficult to get to the restaurant. The sushi was really delicious and tasted very fresh, they also had ice cold beer. The sushi rolls were OK. There are some good prices from 5 am to 6 pm for Happy Hour and have a wide selection of sushi and appetizers and roles to choose from.

So nice to try this Japanese restaurant in Del Mar. This place has a magnificent sea view. It's really popular. I must say the service is extremely slow, that makes me almost a 4-star, but I can say they really need more employees. The waitress is nice, she really tried hard to make any service. But it's super slow.... We waited for 30 minutes to place our food order. The foods did not come too slowly to our table. And all foods are very delicious. I love their menu, you can get almost everything you want from a Japanese restaurant, including sukiyaki hotpot and grilled beef tongue. I believed in cold Soba noodles and enjoyed my food. I hope they can hire more employees soon.

Excellent tasting, high quality Japanese fare. The hot dishes have only the correct amount of taste and the sushi options are a nice change of pace from the usual fare. Try the Ankimo, the Aubergine and the Agadashi Tofu. And then a selection of sushi and/or hot food. Yum!

Wonderful service. Delicious nigiri sushi. Soup was included and it also deserves mention because it was very tasty, more so than most.
