Chapa's Bakery - Del Rio

EXCEPTIONAL BAKERY! I sampled a range of desserts, and everything was delightful. The cream in the cream horns was incredibly light and fluffy, and the Neapolitan cookie was outstanding. Overall, everything was fantastic. If you're in search of authentic bakery treats, this is definitely the place to go!

This bakery is an excellent spot to pick up cookies, cakes, pies, and other pastries. If you're craving authentic Mexican pastries but don't want to travel to Acuña, be sure to add this place to your list of stops.

I visited this place this morning for donuts and pastries. Last month, my aunt Nana ordered some frosting for my son's cake from here, and my mom brought it to me in San Antonio. It was absolutely the best frosting I’ve ever had! The cake received tons of compliments. I've tried frostings from brands like Wilton, AGS, Johnson, and HEB, but none compare to the flavor of Chapa's. From now on, I'll definitely have to have some brought to me—there’s no going back to the other brands!

I've eaten at a lot of bakeries and honestly this is top 2 I've ever eaten. Their pastries are perfection. And it's ridiculously inexpensive for what you're getting.
