They charged us 8.99 for smashed avocado, steaks were overdone, fajitas were soaked in grease, salad dressing was dripping off the plate(probably about 3/4 cup of thousand island for a tiny salad), to top it off, service took forever. It took 45 minutes to get our food, granted there was only one chef, then sat around waiting for checks at the end for another 45 minutes. Would have given this one star but no one takes those seriously.
My wife and I went there on a recent visit to Del Rio. The hotel next door recommended the ribeye steak as the best he ever had. I would have to disagree. The was exceedingly thin and while the flavor was okay it definitely needed steak sauce. The waitress had problems getting the order straight. My wife's shrimp were okay but there weren't very many of them. The restaurant was loud and you had to yell to be heard.
First time in there food was so good I recommended Manuel's restaurant
Really good! from service to music, more of the younger style and a very beautiful sitting area. sitting outdoors with views of the main road. eating came hot and ready to serve, would recommend to anyone who comes to del rio to take a bite. our group got the $55 plate that served 4 people and it was very filled.
It was good. the first time was really loud inside. they seemed to be short, but were very friendly.
